About This Coffee
Sourced from the remote Okapa region in the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea, this microlot coffee is produced by smallholder farmers who cultivate traditional Typica and Bourbon varietals at altitudes between 1,800 and 2,000 metres. The fertile volcanic soil and cool mountain climate create ideal growing conditions, delivering a cup with bright fruit notes, layered spice, and a lingering cocoa finish.
This ‘Y’ grade coffee is carefully handpicked and fully washed, then sun-dried on raised beds. The meticulous processing highlights the terroir of the highlands, resulting in a clean, vibrant, and distinctive single origin.
